SHAWNEE, Kan. — There have been new developments Monday in a important bust of stolen residence in western Shawnee above the weekend.

Kyle Davey is accused of thieving 1000’s of items from individuals and organizations. He’s charged with two counts of felony theft, just one felony possession of heroin and just one felony possession of meth. He created his first courtroom visual appeal Monday.

“Our detectives found out hundreds of stolen houses ranging from electrical power equipment to building equipment, trailers, ATVs, firearms and autos,” said Danny Chavez, Lenexa Police Division spokesman.

Chavez mentioned a suggestion led officers to Davey’s home in western Shawnee.

Davey has yet another courtroom appearance on Jan. 21, 2020. His bond is set at $100,000.
