Meghan Markle and Prince Harry live stateside these days, but that doesn’t mean that the Duchess of Sussex doesn’t take home inspiration from her time across the pond. Case in point: Her favorite candle, which is described as “an ode to the English rose.”

A recent The Cut profile revealed that Markle enjoys filling her Montecito, California home with fragrance courtesy of Soho Home‘s Bassett Rose Water candle. Inspired by the Walled Garden at the English manor Babington House, the candle combines notes of Geranium, Lemon, Bergamot, Guaiac Wood, Musk, and Ginger to give off a floral scent with hints of spice.
Although she has an affinity for the very English candle, Markle’s fondness for Soho Home actually predates her ties to the royal family. As she told The Cut, the brand’s founder, Nick Jones, is a friend from “long before I met Harry.”
Interested in introducing a candle fit for a duchess to your own home? You’re in luck! The Bassett Rose Water candle is currently in stock on Soho Home’s website. The smaller, 200g size retails for $55, with a burn time of approximately 45 hours. The larger, 600g size retails for $105, with a burn time of approximately 70 hours. For best results, Soho Home recommends burning your candle for 2 hours but no more than 4 hours at a time.
If you still can’t get enough of the scent, Rose Water is also available as a home spray ($30) and a diffuser ($55).
