ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – A person was arrested after he allegedly threatened a routine maintenance supervisor at an apartment building on Wednesday, according to the probable trigger affidavit.
On April 27, officers with the South Bend Law enforcement Department were being known as to an apartment creating on East Monroe Street for an armed disturbance report.
An officer arrived and spoke with a supervisor at the condominium, who stated he was on the 5th floor of the building cleansing up damaged glass when 66-yr-aged Robert Worland, a resident, came out of his condominium with a knife.
Worland allegedly approached the target and threatened to reduce his head off.
When the sufferer picked up a piece of broken glass and told Worland he would use it to protect himself, Worland went back again into his condominium, stories claimed.
Officers spoke with another employee, who stated he went to the 5th floor and observed Worland waving a knife whilst walking toward the sufferer.
The personnel was not shut sufficient to hear what Worland was stating, in accordance to stories.
Worland was detained.
Officers received a lookup warrant for Worland’s apartment and identified a knife in the kitchen area that the victim discovered as the knife Worland was keeping in the hallway, stories claimed.
Worland was charged with a single depend of intimidation.
