Police arrest teen after woman shot while in bed Monday morning
Columbus police have arrested suspects in two unrelated homicides, together with just one from July 2021, and determined a victim in a 3rd deadly capturing.
Law enforcement on Thursday arrested 18-year-aged Tyreese Watkins, of the South Facet, in link with the shooting death of 31-year-aged Sorenta Hylton on Monday.

According to courtroom records, the two eyewitness and video proof tied Brooks to the shooting. Police experienced issued an arrest warrant for Brooks on July 23, 2021.
Target of Hilltop shooting determined
On Friday, Columbus police also identified a 25-yr-previous male who was killed on Monday. Police claimed Darwin Garcia, of the Westgate neighborhood, was identified shot on the 1st block of Whitethorne Avenue, in the Hilltop, around 3:05 a.m. Monday.
Garcia died at the scene. A second sufferer, a 31-12 months-previous person, was hospitalized from the similar shooting. No suspects have been discovered.
