WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) -The Wichita Police Section has arrested 62-12 months-outdated Ken Thomas of Wichita for two counts of aggravated battery.
The police section claims all-around 10:35 p.m. on Friday, officers responded to a capturing in the 2300 block of North Broadway.
Officers say upon arrival, they situated a 19-year-old male who experienced been shot in the hand and torso by what appeared to be pellets from a shotgun. The male was transported to an space medical center for treatment of non-lifestyle-threatening accidents.
Police say though at the hospital, a 2nd 17-calendar year-previous sufferer arrived who experienced been shot in the torso by pellets from a shotgun. He was also treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation uncovered the two victims entered the Treatco plant house in the 2300 block of North Broadway when they ended up approached by Thomas, who is the proprietor of the property. Thomas fired many photographs from a shotgun at the males, striking them, in accordance to officers.
Officers say they contacted Thomas at the Treatco home, and he was arrested without incident. A shotgun was also recovered.
The investigation is ongoing, and the circumstance will be offered to the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Place of work.
