The victims informed officers the condominium was thoroughly furnished when they still left on family vacation. When they returned, anything was gone, together with the kitchen cupboards.
GREENBELT, Md. — Roommates returned from vacation to discover all of their possessions absent and two strangers sleeping in a mattress in their Greenbelt apartment earlier this month.
According to Greenbelt Metropolis Police, the roommates still left their apartment in the 9300 block of Edmonston Road on March 28 to go on trip. The victims informed officers when they remaining, the condominium was totally furnished.
The victims came residence on April 5, telling investigators that when they obtained household, they uncovered the entrance doorway was weakened and the condominium was entirely vacant.
As the victims walked into the unit, law enforcement say they identified a Black person and white lady they did not know lying on a mattress, the only piece of home furnishings still in the condominium.
The victims advised law enforcement the suspects admitted to getting their objects and “became aggressive” right before jogging away. The victims had been able to share shots of the suspects with officers.


The roommates told police the condominium, which was thoroughly furnished when they left, was totally vacant when they returned apart from for black trash baggage crammed with items and trash on the partitions.
Investigators say the kitchen was fully vacant and cupboard doorways have been missing. The two bedrooms and closets have been vacant, except for the bed the suspects ended up found lying on.
The two victims instructed police they did not know the suspects.
In accordance to Greenbelt law enforcement, the victims dropped virtually $50,000 in assets.
