The Spartanburg County Coroner’s Workplace has ruled the dying of a Spartanburg female a homicide.
Audra Rochelle Brown, 53, of Bryant Road, was pronounced lifeless at 7:17 a.m. Thursday at Spartanburg Medical Heart, in accordance to a statement from the Coroner’s Place of work.
The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Business office responded to studies that two persons have been stabbed Thursday early morning at Southern Pines Apartments on Bryant Street.
Thursday afternoon the Sheriff’s Office declared it had produced an arrest in the incident. Marcel Larville Alston, 29, 350 Bryant Road, is billed with murder, attempted murder, and possession of a weapon during the fee of a violent criminal offense, according to the Sheriff’s Place of work.
The Sheriff’s Workplace claimed Alston was taken into custody without the need of incident at a convenience retail outlet adjacent to the incident place, and the alleged murder weapon was located on his human being. Alston is the feminine victim’s son, according to the Sheriff’s Workplace.
The Sheriff’s Place of work said the male sufferer is expected to survive his personal injury.
