We can’t imagine a New Year without gifts. For those who dream of their own home, the best gift, of course, is a new apartment! Buyers who chose the Minsk World complex did the right thing. For them, the developer has made a true New Year gift, which is commissioning of new apartment buildings.
The city’s largest investment project – the Minsk World multifunctional complex – does not know weekends. Construction work is on 24/7. The project is so impressive that there is no time to rest. It is no coincidence that this huge construction project on the site of the old airport Minsk 1 was recognized as the largest residential complex in Europe!

The developer has repeatedly stressed that the demand in Minsk for new apartments is still very far from being satisfied. Therefore, the company considers it its strategic task to create conditions so that every Belarusian family could afford a new apartment. We will tell you about how it works financially a little later. In the meantime, let’s pay attention to the pace of the project.
Pavel Ovcharov, director of IOOO Dana Astra, said that to date, 17 residential buildings with a total area of more than 380,000 square meters have been put into operation in the complex. Predictions about dwindling demand and freezing of construction projects are not coming true. On the contrary, the developer has been recently increasing the pace of construction.

“In the last month alone, we have commissioned nine houses. That’s more than 80,000 square meters. Six more houses will be delivered by the end of the year. This is also about 80,000 square meters. I will tell you that Belarus has never seen such volumes of housing delivery before,” Pavel Ovcharov said.
It’s time to recall some of the brightest episodes of the past autumn!
The Jakarta house in the Asia quarter was commissioned in November. A modern beautiful building with interesting solutions in the arrangement of balconies and loggias and bright facades are sure to have caught the eyes of those who passed along Kizhevatova Street.
Next to it is the New Delhi house where some apartments are still available, unlike in the Jakarta house. The designs of these houses are similar, the difference is in stylistic details.
The stylish Hong Kong house is nearby. It is expected to be commissioned in the near future.

A number of new houses have been commissioned in the World Dances quarter. Waltz, Tango and Twist have already welcomed their owners, some of whom have already embarked on remodeling. Charleston is next in line. Owners of apartments in this wonderful and stylish house designed by Institute Minskgrazhdanprojekt will be invited to inspect their homes one of these days!
The Cape Town house in the Africa quarter was also commissioned. This house is located near a place where a park will be laid within the Minsk World complex. This house still has apartments on sale. This means that buyers can see their future home not only on layouts and plans, but also with their own eyes!

The Alexandria house was also completed in this quarter – it is to be commissioned before the New Year. By the way, several apartments are still available in the house – this is the case when new housing can be purchased without a long wait.
A number of houses in the North America quarter are also almost ready to move in. Vancouver and Quebec have already been commissioned, acceptance will take place literally in the coming days; Los Angeles and San Francisco are almost ready, too. In the courtyards of this quarter there are already a tennis court, a workout area and a modern, safe playground for children. Apartments here are being sold very fast!

Housewarming will soon begin in the Eurasia quarter located in the central part of the complex. The debut house of the quarter – Moscow – will be delivered in December. Noteworthy, literally a few apartments are still on sale here – which means that there is still a chance to purchase housing and immediately start renovating!
It should be noted that the commissioning of the house does not only mean the complete readiness of the building to welcome the residents, but also a comprehensive landscaping of the adjacent territory. Parking lots, lawns, paths, benches, lighting, children’s and sports grounds – the developer creates all the conditions for apartment owners to move in as soon as possible.

The complex will boast bike lanes to connect all the quarters and cross the park
According to Pavel Ovcharov, construction works are underway in all the quarters of the complex. However, works need to be accelerated in the areas where the houses have already welcomed new apartment owners. The Emirates quarter, which is now fully completed, including a large trading center and a car park for almost 800 cars, can be cited as an example.

“The entire infrastructure of the quarter is built simultaneously with the housing. If residents start moving in, we set the task to complete all the houses in the quarter as quickly as possible. It takes about three years from the start of the construction of the first house to the completion of the entire quarter,” said Pavel Ovcharov.
According to the representative of the developer, the winter will not affect the construction pace in the Minsk World complex.
“The country’s legislation provides for the commissioning of residential buildings both in winter and summer. Certain types of work may be postponed due to unfavorable conditions, but as a rule, this does not affect the schedule. We make certain commitments to our customers and to the state authorities and meet the contractual deadlines,” Pavel Ovcharov said.
The pandemic does not interfere with the speed of construction of the complex either. Theoretically, difficulties with logistics could slow down some deliveries, but the imports of building materials for the construction project are minimal.
“Import accounts for less than 2% of the total volume of the necessary resources in our production activity. As a rule, we mostly import equipment. The rest – workforce and materials – is Belarusian. More than 500 Belarusian suppliers and construction companies are involved in the construction of the complex. We support domestic manufacturers, work with design institutes specializing in new materials and with the largest enterprises that experiment with equipment and new types of materials at our construction sites. This contributes to the development of the country’s economy as a whole,” Pavel Ovcharov believes.
This year, the developer has launched the construction of the fifth quarter of the complex that will be home to the International Financial Center and the country’s largest shopping mall.

“This quarter is the only new construction site of this year. I would like to note that we have already received a high-capacity drilling machine for deep foundation installation. These operations are unique for Belarus, because the central tower of the International Financial Center will be 42 floors high. It will be one-of-a kind building in Belarus! We are drawing on the experience of a construction company from the United Arab Emirates. We invited experts who had built similar towers in Dubai as well as Russian specialists who can share their experience in building the facades of skyscrapers. In general, this year, we have completed all the necessary preparations and we are ready to start erecting these unique buildings next year,” Pavel Ovcharov noted.
The International Financial Center Minsk World will help attract investment and create new jobs
